The launch of Spark and its BTKN token standard has led to the launch of several new Bitcoin-native tokens, with the number growing every day.
Read on to discover five of the most popular BTKN tokens currently available for trading on Satsdaq, so you can learn what traders are currently most excited about.
TL;DR
- BTKN tokens run on Spark and are based on the BTKN token standard.
- Spark tokens can be traded on the Satsdaq launchpad and trading platform.
- Some of the most popular tokens include USDB, UTXO, FSPKS, Sooncoin, and Akita Mia.
What Are Spark (BTKN) Tokens?
BTKN tokens run on the Spark protocol and are created using the BTKN token standard to provide new types of Bitcoin-native assets, which can be transferred nearly instantaneous with zero fees.
BTKN tokens on Spark can serve different purposes like the stablecoin USDB or no purpose at all beyond entertainment, like in the case of memecoins. Since the Spark protocol is relatively new, only a handful of tokens have gained traction and are seeing trading volumes.
However, as the Spark ecosystem is growing, we can expect more tokens (with different use cases) launching soon. Many of them can already be traded on different BTKN token trading platforms, including Xverse’s trading terminal Satsdaq.
“Satsdaq is everything you need for Bitcoin tokens. It’s the perfect starting point for token discovery, trading, analytics, as well as launching your own coin. Everything you need, you can find here,” explains Ken Liao, CEO at Xverse.
Top Spark (BTKN) Tokens Worth Checking Out
The number of BTKN tokens in the ecosystem continues to grow, so we’ve rounded up some of the more interesting ones for you that you can trade on Satsdaq. Read on to find out what sets them apart from the others.
USDB
USDB is the first regulated, reserve-backed stablecoin on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Like any stablecoin, it can be advantageous as a hedge against price movements of other assets, and the fact that it’s on Spark and therefore easily convertible to and from any other BTKN token (and BTC) makes it incredibly useful for traders in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Additionally, USDB can be used for a host of other purposes: fast and cheap borderless payments, as a bridge between crypto and traditional finance, and as a potential entry point into BitcoinFi.
JOY
JOY is an as-of-yet unreleased token that’s coming to Spark in 2026.
It’s slated to be the largest and most widely distributed airdrop on the protocol, according to its founder Nayver, who says that the snapshot has been taken and the token is set to reach over 113,000 wallets. All of them belong to communities from Ordinals, Runes, BRC-20, BRC 2.0, and Alkanes.
The token was supposed to launch over the 2025 holiday season so it could spread joy, as its name suggests, but it has been postponed.
The reason for this is that Flashnet, the Spark-based exchange, has announced it will be prioritizing rewards, improved tooling, and stronger partner support in 2026, and the team wants the JOY token to launch in alignment with these new features.
FSPKS
FSPKS (also the ticker for FlashSparks) is one of the earliest tokens built on the Spark protocol.
Trading with a market cap of $90k (at the time of writing), it’s very popular among holders. Its fundamental utility isn’t stated on its social media, but thanks to its size and popularity, it can be a good choice for getting exposure to the Spark ecosystem and even the wider BitcoinFi ecosystem.
In other words, its role is largely community- and market-driven, rather than utilitarian in the traditional sense.
Sooncoin
Sooncoin (SOON) is a memecoin on the Spark network that, at first glance, seems to have deeper utility (like a token that will support a trading ecosystem) but is actually parodying the guarantees of some less-than-savory projects in the space.
These are the ones that always promise, yet rarely deliver. It states that it has no roadmap and no deadline, “just soon.”
And the market seems to be in on the joke. With a market cap of $348k (at the time of writing), it’s pretty popular among its fanbase. This isn’t much of a surprise, as tongue-in-cheek jokes, especially when you’re poking fun at yourself, tend to go over rather well among crypto users.
Akita Mia
Akita Mia (AKITA) calls itself “the first true memecoin on the Lightning & Spark Network.”
Aside from its fungible version, there’s an NFT collection based on the Ordinals protocol and made up of different dog artwork.
Users who owned any Akita Mia NFTs were simultaneously eligible for their AKITA token airdrop, so the token has spread and has a decent following on social media. As a memecoin with a market cap of $71k (at the time of writing) and an NFT, this makes it quite accessible for all types of users.

How to Buy & Swap Spark (BTKN) Tokens on Xverse
Buying, selling, and swapping BTKN tokens on Xverse is very easy. The swapping feature is integrated into your Xverse wallet, which means you can easily do the whole process from one single interface in a few simple steps:
- Bridge BTC to Spark: In your wallet, click on the Bitcoin on Spark asset. Here, you’ll see the option to convert from the mainnet to the protocol. You’ll enter the amount you want to convert, review the information, and confirm the transaction.
- Initiate the swap: From your wallet’s starting page, click on Swap. Choose Bitcoin on Spark as the starting asset, then pick the BTKN token you want to receive. You’ll once again review the details, then commit to the swap.
- Wait for the token to show up in your wallet: Swaps on Spark are nearly instantaneous, so it only takes a few seconds for your new balance to show. If it doesn’t, refresh your wallet.
If you want to buy new Spark tokens, you’ll find the best selection on the Satsdaq trading terminal. The steps are simple:
- Open Satsdaq: Here, you’ll be able to see a list of Trending Spark tokens, or switch your view to Trenches to see the recently launched ones.

- (Option 1) Quick Buy: Click the Buy button with the lightning symbol at the far right part of the screen to quickly buy a position in whichever token you want.
You’ll still be able to see the details of your purchase, since you get a pop-up from your wallet asking you to confirm the transaction. It automatically buys your quick-buy amount, which can be modified by the heart icon on the right hand side of your screen. This is the quickest way to buy BTKN tokens.

- (Option 2) Normal Buy: To buy tokens in the familiar, old-school way, click on whichever token you want, enter the amount you want to buy, review the information, and click Buy Now.
The transaction itself is as fast as the Quick Buy one thanks to the way the Spark protocol works, but it’s slightly slower as you need to enter the amount manually.

And that’s it!
There’s nothing more you need to do, since your tokens will land in your Xverse wallet in a short amount of time, and then you’ll be a proud owner of your very own BTKN tokens.
How to Launch Your Own BTKN Token on Spark, Step-by-Step

You’ll find the Launchpad button at the top right of your screen on the Satsdaq platform.
There, you’ll see the different options available for launch. These are the most important parameters to set (or choose a preset option):
- Max supply: How many tokens there will be; make sure to double-check this, as it can’t be changed once the token is launched.
- Decimals: How divisible your tokens are; the default is set to 8.
- Target raise: How much BTC is needed from sales to fill the bonding curve and move the token to a permanent flashpool.
- Graduation threshold: The percentage of tokens sold to raise the target BTC amount.
You’ll also be able to set a liquidity provider fee, paid to them for every trade, and a host fee, divided between Flashnet, Satsdaq, and yourself, the token creator.

If you don’t want to bother with these details, you can also choose between a Fair launch (1 billion supply, 0.15 BTC target, for equal opportunity) or a Speed run (10 billion supply, 0.05 BTC target, for fast graduation).

Then, fill in all the basics: your token’s name, symbol (either letters or an emoji), and an image for the token.
Optionally, you can also add any social links to your project, a description of the token, and an initial buy amount (because you want to be the first holder).
Then, click on the Launch token button.

If you’ve entered any amount into the Initial Buy field, you’ll be prompted to confirm the purchase in your Xverse wallet. Review everything before confirming.

Once your token is live, you can see its page with all the data in one place. Here, you can track the number of holders, trading volume, bonding curve progress, and more.
Congratulations! You’ve launched your very own token based on Spark, which can now be found in the Trenches.
